RITA-2 is placed at the cold source and is optimized for medium energy resolution and high \(q\) resolution.<br /> <br /> In this assignment, you will use McStas to construct a model of RITA-2 and perform a virtual inelastic phonon experiment. You will then use the state-of-the-art analysis package MFIT to analyze the data and determine the phonon dispersion relation.
